                         DOCUMENTARIES

NOW SHOOTING IN ZIMBABWE

Nations of Glory will be a series of magazine style TV documentary programmes specifically targeted on the African tourism, aspiring news/stories and activities & lifestyles of Africans. The first season will focus on East and Southern Africa, starting with Zimbabwe, Malawi, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Botswana, South Africa and Zambia. The target viewer ship will be Europeans, with objectives to globalise. The programme is also set to attract a multicultural audience, people from all walks of life through social media: Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and My Space. Our company will be running an online TV/Rainbow TV which can be accessed worldwide not limited to only one TV channel and a particular race. We are currently negotiating airtime with Travel Channel, DSTV, ITV, BBC and Sky.

We do casting for different productions, this year we searched, recruited and provided talent for an Afro Scottish film, Misconception (2012). It has been a great experience. Most of Afro Scots talents have been discovered and there is no doubt this was the right cast.
We are currently recruiting for more productions; commercials, films, music videos, TV Programmes.

                              BEAUTY PAGEANTS

We are the proud host of Miss Africa Scotland Beauty Pageant, we have hosted and covered a series of preliminary Miss Africa Scotland events across Scotland and the finals were a great success.
Each stage of the pageant was filmed by Rainbow Entertainment Productions and official sponsors will have the opportunity to benefit from an innovative range of broadcast material that has been specifically developed to highlight the competition. We will continue to host & cover the Miss Africa event in Scotland every year.

*Afro Gossip ( A Product of Rainbow Entertainment Productions) is a magazine of TV Programs conceived, presented and produced by Rainbow Entertainment founder (Miss Lydia H Mudhari). A trailer of this show was pitched and showcased to media industry professional at the Center for Contemporary Arts in Glasgow. This was followed by positive feedback; “unique concept, good access to high profile people and celebrities, entertaining and informative”

The series was designed to focus national attention on the lifestyles, history and experiences of people of African origin living in Scotland as well as back in Africa. A video of the trailer can be accessed on youtube-Afro Gossip Trailer.



                            SPORT
African teenagers and young adults are doing very well in sports. Making a mark on the Scottish sport scene but are they getting the exposure they deserve? A strong emphasis will be placed on creating cross-cultural entertainment to promote understanding and appreciation within the different segments of the community/city.

This project focuses on following up Afro Scots sports scenes such as football matches, basketball tournaments and any other sport that Africans are involved in as well as carrying out interviews with players locally and international. 
This is to examine the way Afro-Scots have adapted to the Scottish way of life but still maintaining their African and traditional way of doing things. Also how do Scottish media and arts influence Afro-Scots and how do they find their arts and music fitting into Scottish society.  This year we covered: "Under 16 Strathclyde League Basketball Championship", The Rocks vs Cuckoo Teams.  We conducted interviews with the most talented Africa & Scottish basketball players and also interviewed the only African  player in the Cartha Queens Club Rugby team, Moses Mazvomba. 

                         CONFERENCES
We have covered christian and political conferences as well and conducting interviews with the most high profile people like; the Tanzanian High Commissioner, His Excellence Peter Kallage, The Lagos state governor His Excellence Baba Tunde Fashola, Scottish MP James Kelly, the Catholic Cardinal, His Eminence Keith O'Brien, Destiny Church Senior Pastor Andrew Owen and Rev Lukas Njeka of Heart for the City.

 Politics: The Lagos State Governor visits Stratclyde University 
 This project will be coverage of  political activities, issues about African immigrants in Scotland from international students to refugees and Asylum seekers experiences. The content will broadcast on Rainbow TV/Afro Gossip TV Show



His Excellence Baba Tunde Fashola & Strathclyde University Professors

There will be interviews with politicians and businessmen who are contributing to the Scottish economy. The presenter has visited universities to find out the achievements of African/international students as well as shops and businesses that are run by Africans or Caribbean.



Entertainment
This is one of our most interesting projects where we have discovered and interviewed the most talented artists from all works of life. The content will be in our TV programmes and documentaries.

This program focuses on documenting interviews with entertainers/celebrities as well as covering different performances going on around the Afro–Scots community such as music concerts, arts and celebrity news, beauty and fashion shows.
